Showa Denko's Elastomer Group exhibits at "Waterproof Membranes 2014"
Showa Denko’s Elastomer Group will attend the „Waterproof Membranes 2014“, the world waterproofing conference covering market economics, technical innovation, performance and manufacturing. The event will be held on November 17-19 at the Maritim Hotel in Bonn, Germany.
We will present our SHOWA DENKO Chloroprene at the exhibition which is held parallel to the conference. SHOWA DENKO Chloroprene is used as elastomeric modifier of bitumen emulsions for liquid roofing and waterproofing in the construction industry. From our large variety of grades, the liquid dispersion grade 671A has proven successful for this application, being used for bituminous waterproofing around the world. SHOWA DENKO Chloroprene 671A is an anionic type with high solid content (typically 59%) that results in quick coagulation, e.g. in 2-part spray systems. The high gel content is minimizing water swell, and a medium crystallinity provides the best blend of elasticity and tensile strength. It shows outstanding resistance against weather, sun, and ozone; and excellent ductility and flexibility also at low temperatures.
We invite all participants of the conference and exhibition to visit our booth and learn about our product in detail. The R&D engineer from our Kawasaki plant in charge of SHOWA DENKO Chloroprene will also be present to answer all technical questions. If you like to set a meeting with us during the conference ahead of the event, please contact the sales team of our Elastomer Group here.
Of course we will be happy to send you information also if you have no opportunity to meet us at the conference in Bonn; technical data and product samples are available on request.
